Rakesh Kishan
Rakesh Kishan has advised Fortune 500 companies on enterprise-wide RE&FM initiatives to strengthen organizational effectiveness, create greater value to customers, and increase efficiency and innovation in FM through best practices. He has led improvement efforts of high-value asset portfolios comprised of manufacturing, lab, and office campus settings of pharmaceutical, high-technology, manufacturing, and financial services industry sectors.

Mr. Kishan is an expert in the growing market for outsourced integrated FM services. He has spearheaded outsourcing initiatives on a global scale and within diverse portfolios of manufacturing plant, lab, and office settings. He has negotiated substantial FM deals with individual contract values of up to a billion dollars. In this capacity Mr. Kishan has advised major corporations in virtually all aspects of the entire outsourcing life-cycle: from structuring global Facilities Management outsourcing initiatives, to optimizing governance structures and processes for sustained realized improvements, and to implementing interventions to renew troubled relationships. In particular, he has pioneered innovative approaches to structuring contract pricing to foster continued supplier innovation across each stage of the contract life-span.

Mr. Kishan has written for and presented at RE&FM organizations and publications in the US, UK, Canada, and Japan on outsourcing and performance improvement in Facilities Management. He is the chair for the annual UMS Strategic FM Conference attended by thought leaders in RE&FM. In addition, he is the editor of UMS Perspectives, a thought leadership journal dedicated to advancement of RE&FM.

Mr. Kishan holds an Masters in Business from Columbia University, a Masters in Government from the University of Pennsylvania, a BS from the University of Wisconsin, and a BSc in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry from the University of Delhi.


Andrew Cieslak
As Managing Director, Mr. Cieslak provides project management and client relationship management expertise in the delivery of outsourcing services, organizational effectiveness and re-design, performance improvement. Andrew has particular expertise in operational excellence, strategic sourcing, organizational strategy development and design, and six sigma process improvement. He has led RFP initiatives and negotiated over $1.5 billion (total contract value) in global Facilities Management and Real Estate agreements over the course of his tenure at UMS.

Andrew has over 7 years of experience with companies like Deloitte Consulting and JP Morgan Chase (formerly Washington Mutual Bank). While in the Financial Services Industry, he was a Vice-President and responsible for strategic sourcing initiatives at an enterprise level and also had $75M P&L responsibility for a business unit within the retail bank.

Mr. Cieslak holds dual Bachelor Degrees in Business Administration, Finance and Operations from Emory University.


Brian Rogers
As Managing Director, Brian is responsible for leading business development and growth in new markets and services as well as directing client project delivery and account management at UMS. He provides expertise in strategic direction and client management in the delivery of integrated outsourcing services, organizational effectiveness and re-design, and performance improvement.

Brian Rogers brings over 20 years of technical, operational and engineering experience to UMS Advisory. Mr. Rogers most recently served as Director of Global Operations at Pfizer Vaccines Division (formerly Wyeth) where he had responsibility for the Pfizer’s global research and development facilities in North Carolina directly influencing the introduction of innovative biological products. Brian joined Wyeth in 1996 and in his 14 years had several leadership posts spanning the breadth of pharmaceutical manufacturing, technical operations, facilities management, real estate strategies, client relationships and OPEX/CAPEX responsibilities. Prior to joining Wyeth, Brian spent 5 years with Abbott Laboratories in a variety of engineering and operations roles.

Mr. Rogers holds a BS in Industrial Technology from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master’s Certification in QA/RA from Temple University. He also holds a certification from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) as a Certified Facility Manager (CFM).


Ty Fastovsky
Mr. Fastovsky is a Managing Director at UMS Advisory, Inc.  In this capacity Mr. Fastovsky provides project management and client relationship expertise in the delivery of outsourcing services, organizational effectiveness and re-design, and performance improvement. He has particular expertise in Facilities and Real Estate outsourcing, capacity planning, and financial analysis/benchmarking. During his time at UMS, he has led a number RFP efforts for clients and has negotiated approximately over $1.5 billion (total contract value) in global Facilities Management and Real Estate agreements in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America.
 
Mr. Fastovsky has over 9 years of experience in Financial Services, Manufacturing and Consulting, with companies such as Capital One Bank, M&M/Mars, and Booz Allen Hamilton. Prior to UMS, Mr. Fastovsky was in the Real Estate group at Capital One bank where he held positions in portfolio planning and strategic analysis.  In this capacity, he was responsible for real estate capacity planning, geographic information systems (GIS) analysis, financial analysis including forecasting and benchmarking, and process improvement.
 
Mr. Fastovsky holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business (NYU) and a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University.
